I’ve been sick this week. Some days were spent just resting with my brain not capable of much. Other days, however, were spent with some meditation. I’ve been going through the Bible Project’s class “From Adam to Noah” (you should check it out), and as has happened, my perspective on things I’ve been taught in my faith walk are shifting yet again.

There are blessings that have come out of the mess of 2020. In pandemic life, I’ve had to rearrange and figure out different ways to do things. One thing that changed was small group. My men’s group moved from my house, to online, and to the park. Something special happened for me when we moved to the park.

You may think, “That’s kind of weird…how can a person have a relationship with something that he can’t see?” Beyond those who don’t believe in God at all, there are several people who think that a relationship with God is just kind of a weird idea.
